One last toast

School starts soon, wow! It's less than a week a way. o_o

Anyways, here's some more works until school begins again. For that underwater one it took me four tries until I painted that dock in a way that I liked, and it wasn't until I watched ( that I felt like I at least kind of knew what I was doing. It was a simple tutorial but well explained, if you're like me and aren't confident with painting, you might want to give it a shot.

I unironically know that Palpitoad is the best Pokemon. If you disagree I will thoroughly debate you on this topic in an emotional manner.

WOO! I turned everyone's (or almost everyone's?) favourite solar system into a cast of characters, thus continuing my obsession with giving inanimate objects eyes! If I ever make a second blog it will probably be dedicated to eye bombing or something, I just can't stop putting eyes on things.

Weird Stuff

Okay so, so far my next art project is a cast of characters representing the solar system, and what you see above is what I have so far. Among some thumbnails and other ideas I have a bunch of designs for my sun character, but these are the two main ones I've come to. The first one turned out to be a gigantic NO, but the second one is getting closer, I might stick with it or decide to go in a different direction.

Alright, so I haven't really posted anything here in a long while, but TA-DA! The first three are from school, the last two not so much. Also....

I have PLANS. To draw. This summer. Definitely.
So I will post more stuff later, as the summer progresses.

It's a pillow.
And a dog!

Books are awesome.

I stopped when I realized she had almost no midsection.

Some eye studies, and a drawing of my uncle.

Moving Pictures

So I've been working on animating this summer, mostly by reading through Richard William's book and doing random animation exercises. Gotta get down those basics!

Some stuff

These are just some exercises and pages from my sketchbook. I'm trying to practice my painting skills; I think I'm getting better at painting shapes now, but I still have a ways to go.
